At 7 and 23 months

The weather has changed dramatically for the worse. For the last couple of weeks, the warmest we'd had was 15 degrees. Some days, it's doesn't get over 10 degrees. Sarah is really into daily walks, she asks me to go about 20 times each day. The bitter cold puts a dent on our outings, but I still try and take them to the playground as often as I can. I've reorganized our closets, making them ready for the winter. Snowsuits, sweaters, hats, mitts and boots are all out. Sarah has an obsession with her pink boots. In the summer, I had to hide them, because she would constantly want to wear them instead of sandals. But now they're back out, and she's ecstatic. I've been working on finding a cute Halloween costume for her. I want her to wear something cute and girly, but I also want it to be nice and warm, so she won't have to wear a coat on top. Christine is going to be a Dalmatian. She's getting to be a big girl. At her 6 month check-up, she weighed 16 lbs, and only cried for about 5 seconds after getting her 2 shots. That's my girl! She's almost able to sit on her own That's one of her favourite games, to sit on the floor with Sarah and Mommy with a bunch of toys around her and play. And of course, she has to taste every toy she gets her hands on. Another one of her favourite games is bath time. The girls bathe together in the big tub now. I got Christine a bath ring to keep her sitting up, so I don't have to hold her. She loves it. She loves water as much as Sarah does..
They have a load of floating toys to keep them happy in the tub, but nothing can ever top the "DUCKY"! We have 4 of them, to make sure everybody can have one in each hand. A small ducky, 2 medium sized ones, and a larger one. Last Saturday we went garage saling, and a nice lady gave Sarah another huge ducky for free. She's in love with it, so now we have 5.
As Christine grows, so does her appetite. Unlike Sarah, she absolutely loves pureed food. She can eat a whole serving in about 2 minutes. I can't put the spoon in her mouth fast enough. She loves everything from meat to veggies to fruits. Now that I think of it, the girls eat about the same amount of food. That's crazy! Sarah has recently discovered ice cream. My god, she can't get enough of it! I might go as far as saying, she loves ice cream, more than her pink boots. Like her Mom, Chocolate is her favourite.
