Santa Claus Parade

November's come and gone, it's 3 weeks till christmas. I've been doing some christmas shopping, but I'm nowhere near done. I wrapped 5 gifts yesterday evening so I'd only have about 30 more to go.
For the first time, Peter and I participated in the annual Santa Claus Parade in Cambridge. We represented our company. We had about 20 kids on our nicely decorated float and about another 20 employees to help with handing out chips to the croud. Wow, that was hard work. I thought we'd walk along our float and hand some kids a few bags of chips. No worries! Yeah, right! I personally didn't do ANY walking, I ran the whole time back and forth from the float to the piranhas (I mean kids), and from the kids to the float for refills. We had prepared 20,000 bags that night I we still ran out at 3/4 of the parade. We had so much fun though. There was excitement in the air. There were so many beautifully decorated floats from all different companies, thousands of people watching as Santa Claus arrived to town on the very last float. Mom watched the whole thing live on TV and recorded it for us. It was an unforgettable night, I'm glad we were part of it!
