Look who's walking...

Sarah is 10 months old and she's on the go. She started walking without any support about 2 weeks ago. She's fully able to get around on her own now. She's so cute...it's unbelievable to see a tiny person like her walk like a grown-up. She loves being on her feet. If she falls down, she gets right back up and keeps going. She's realized it's a lot faster than crawling.
We moved out of our house and into my parents' house last week. It's been going better than I expected. Mom, Sarah and I hang out together all day while the boys work. We go shopping, run errands, play with Sarah and have a great time together. Peter's teaching Mom how to cook canadian foods. It's a nice change to their usual hungarian meals. I'm 17 weeks pregnant now and my appetite has increased accordingly. I eat a lot. My belly is growing nice, it is now obvious even to strangers that I'm expecting. I haven't had any problems with this pregnancy, the only thing I have to watch is how much I hold Sarah. She likes to be picked up and held by Mommy, but she's about 23lbs now, and I shouldn't lift that much weight. The other day I got a sharp pain in my stomach when I was holding her. Thankfully, it went away in a few hours. I can't wait to go for an ultrasound and find out what we're having. We should know in about 2 or 3 weeks.

Moving

We're almost all packed up and ready to move. We have to leave our current house in 6 days. We'd ordered a big storage trailer to keep our furniture in while we're at my parents' house. It was delivered yesterday, so we can start loading it today. First, I'm going garage saling though. I need some fall/winter clothes for Sarah. Summer is ending in a hurry, the days are shorter and colder. This year, that doesn't bother me. I'm actually looking forward to winter. It will be Sarah's first real winter. Last year she was too young to appreciate it. This year she'll be able to go outside and play in the snow.I can't wait. The other day I picked up a pair of hiking boots for the fall and a pair of tall and warm winter boots for helping Daddy shovel snow. I just know she'll have to be out there whenever Peter goes outside. I think she'll love winter. She's starting to walk too. She's able to walk for about 3 meters on her own, without any support. I'm starting to get her used to the idea of wearing shoes. She likes shoes. She constantly brings me her little slippers to help her put them on. She can climb up and down stairs now. Her vocabulary has also increased. She understands so many words, it amazes me. She's still not fussy about chunky food, but she still only has 4 teeth. I've stopped giving her jarred baby food, instead I blend down whatever we eat and then mix it with her cereal. She likes grown up food much better. It's fun taking her to restaurants, she keeps herself occupied with a couple of fries. People are always surprised how well she behaves for such a little baby. She's never screamed or made a scene like a lot of other kids do. She's my little angel. I'm proud of her.
