The new house

We purchased our new house on Thursday. It's such a beautiful bungalow, I can't wait to move in. It's in Cambridge, about 2km from work. It's at the end of a dead end street so traffic is minimal. The house is only 10 years old, but it is in a mature, quiet neighbourhood. On the main floor we have 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom with double sinks, a huge, gorgeous kitchen, a living room and dining room that has sliders to the large deck outside. We also have a big rec room downstairs with a gas burning fireplace and a full bathroom, laundry and storage room, that's big enough to someday add a guest room to it. We have new windows, air conditioning, a new high-efficiency furnace and central vacuum. There's an over sized garage, and perfectly landscaped backyard with tons of perennials. The grass is the most beautiful grass that I've ever seen. There's not a single weed in it. It's like a carpet. We're going to move in the middle of October, but we'll have to be out of our place shortly, so for about 4 weeks we'll be living with my parents. I've been busy packing, our garage looks more like a storage right now. There are boxes everywhere. But that's OK, it's all worth it. I'm so excited about the new place. We had a home inspection done on it, and it passed with flying colours. It's a fantastic house! I can't wait to live there!

New Brunswick

We took a 9-day trip to New Brunswick. We left late Friday night for the 14-hour trip. There was a huge accident on the highway just past Toronto. The police shut down the highway on us and we ended up losing over 2 hours. So our already long trip became even longer. We got to Woodstock Saturday afternoon around 3pm. We were exhausted. We spent a few days visiting with Peter's aunt, uncle and cousins in Woodstock, then we drove over to Fredericton, the capital of New Brunswick, to see another one of his aunts and a cousin. It was such an exciting visit as their chocolate lab was only days away from having puppies. I was hoping we'd be able to see them, but she gave birth the night after we left. Fredericton is a beautiful city. If we were to ever move to NB, we'd definitely move there. The whole city looks like it's settled in a huge park. There are lakes and forests and walking trails everywhere. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Sarah enjoyed the long walks and she took amazingly long naps. The air is much cleaner there than it is at home. Although we had a great time visiting NB, it was nice to come home and finally sleep in our own bed.
Our house is now sold, we're on the hunt for a new one. We'd like to move closer to work to cut down on travel time. I really hope we will find one soon because we have to move out in about 4 weeks.
My pregnancy is going well. I'm 11 weeks now. I haven't had any more morning sickness. I think it was caused by taking my prenatal vitamins on an empty stomach. I take them with supper now and I haven't had any problems since. I can't wait to find out if it's a girl or a boy.
