We are 6 weeks old

Sarah, you are growing so fast. The other day I put you down for a nap, when you woke up a few hours later, I could have sworn you looked bigger. You are starting to realize that you have hands too. There's a blue/yellow ball that hangs above you in your little chair, you just love hitting it with your tiny fist. You concentrate on it for a while, then you take swing. You miss it the first few times, then when you finally hit it, it swings back and forth. You smile in satisfaction and keep whacking at it. You have many toys, but that little ball is the first one you can actually play with and have fun with. I can't wait for you to discover your stuffed animals, water toys, rattle watches, etc. I love watching you play. You have so much fun and I love seeing you smile.
You're starting to sleep more at night. The last 2 nights you slept for 6 hours straight. I needed that little break, I was getting exhausted. We moved you to your crib a few days ago, because your cradle was becoming too small for you. You move around a lot now, you're almost able to roll over on your stomach. Your favourite body parts are your legs. You just love kicking at the air when you're laying on your back. You're going to have strong legs if you keep that up. You've always been a kicker though, even in my belly.
I applied for a passport for you the other day. We are planning our first family trip in April. You'll be about 6 months then. We're going to go somewhere in the Caribbean. I can't wait to take this trip with you. The hot weather will be a surprise for you, it's something you've never experienced. You'll get to crawl around in just a diaper in the sand, go for a swim in your little baby float and enjoy the sun. We'll have a blast!
