Where did the summer go???

It's been a while since my last post, the girls keep my unbelievably busy. I have absolutely no time for myself. About 2 months ago, I bought a few passes for the local pool for lane swimming in the hopes of regaining my old shape faster, but I still haven't had my first session. There's just no time. Christine will be 6 months old tomorrow, and just like her sister, she's a Mommy's girl. She loves being picked up, talked to and played with. When I set her down in her exersaucer, she only stays happy for about 10 minutes, then she'll need attention. She only takes a couple of naps each day, and they only last for about 20 to 30 minutes. In other words, she takes up my whole day. Everyday! Then there's Sarah, who loves attention just as much, and when I'm tied up with the baby, she wants Mommy even more. She's becoming so smart though. She picks up new words every day. She's a little chatterbox, like her Dad. She's almost fully potty trained, she only wears a diaper at night and in the car. Sometimes all she needs is 1 diaper a day, because it's dry when she wakes up in the morning, it's dry when we get home from shopping, and it's still dry after her nap. She saves us a lot of money this way. And when she does go in it, it's only pee. She hasn't pooped in her diaper for about 6 months now. Woohoo!!!
It's been a busy summer for us all. We travelled down to New Brunswick back in July for 10 days, then we rented a cottage in Sauble Beach for a few days, and we visited Dwayne and Kelly and the kids countless times. They now live conveniently close to the beach, about 10 minutes away. The highlight of our trip to NB was Jeff's proposal to Jenny.
They're going to get married on August 28Th of next year. Peter will be the Master of Ceremony, and I'll be the Maid of Honour. Needless to say, there's never a dull moment around here. I have a bridal shower to plan for, a stag and doe, and a wedding, while chasing after 2 babies and running the household. Plus, in 6 months I'll be returning to work. Good thing those swim passes don't expire for 2 years...I might just make it there before then.
