6 months old

Sarah is half a year old today. She's going to get her shots tomorrow morning. Poor baby. She's a trooper though, I'm sure she'll handle it well.
We got home from holidays on Sunday. We took a trip to Niagara Falls for 2 nights. It was a big test for us all since we didn't take Sarah with us. She stayed at my Mom's house. She took the change surprisingly well. She slept through both nights without any issues. Peter and I had a relaxing time at the Falls. I had reserved a hotel room with a 2-person jacuzzi tub, we took long walks to see the sights, casinos, tourist attractions and of course the Falls. . We found a great restaurant where they had "all you can eat" ribs that was so delicious I still can't get over it. We saw the wax museum of Hollywood stars, we got to sit in a replica of the DeLorian from Back to the Future, and Peter posed for a picture with Catwoman. We came back home on Friday to pick up Sarah and drive to our capital city, Ottawa. The 6-hour drive seemed pretty short, Peter put the pedal to the metal. We stayed at the Sheraton in Quebec. It was a very elegant hotel with a pool, hot tub, gym, and a restaurant. Sarah loves water, so we took her down to the pool. She had an awesome time!
The next day we went for a looooong walk to the city. We discovered the local market where we had a nice big Irish breakfast. After that we took a guided tour of the Parliament building. Peter and I have both seen it many times from the outside, but this was our first time inside. It's so beautiful! I took many pictures of the architectural designs. We went up to the tower where we could see a big chunk of the city. After that we checked out the Tulip Fest. Unfortunately, it wasn't as exciting as I'd expected. Most of the tulips weren't in bloom yet. Sarah really enjoyed spending the whole day outdoors. She sat in her stroller all day and watched everything and everybody. When she got tired, we reclined the stroller to a laying position so she could have a nap. We got back to the hotel around 5pm, and left for home the next morning.
